The RAIC Foundation is a proud supporter of Migrating Landscapes, the official Canadian entry at the world-renowned Venice Architecture Biennale (Aug. 29 – Nov. 25, 2012).
The Biennale is like the “Olympics” of Architecture. Following a nation-wide competition that invited young Canadian architects and designers to reflect on their experiences of im/migration through video narratives and designs for dwellings, 18 exceptional projects have won the honour of representing Canada in Venice, together with curators 5468796 Architecture + Jae-Sung Chon.
We will use your donation of miles to fly our young architectural “Team Canada” to Venice so they can achieve their dream of participating in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see their work showcased at the world’s most important and prestigious architecture exhibition.
