Developing World Connections provides International Volunteer Experiences to people of all ages and backgrounds. We are a grassroots, registered non-profit, and Canadian Charitable Organization with no professional, political, or religious affiliation.

Since 2005, we have sent almost 2000 volunteers to work side-by-side with locals on sustainable projects in host communities all over the world. Our volunteers have built schools, livelihood centres, trade schools, homes, community latrines, and water systems. We work in conjunction with in-country non-profits, and our projects are chosen by the community to fulfill their needs.

Our vision is for a sustainable, socially-just, peaceful, and poverty-free global community where people experience the difference they make and the hope they build while working alongside each other.

We use donated Aeroplan Miles for our national and international travel needs wherever possible. We are currently partnered with 14 host partners and communities in Asia, Africa, and the Americas, and we travel to these communities throughout the year to monitor and assess the programs and provide project reports. As well, we rely on Aeroplan Miles to enable us to travel throughout Canada to trade shows and team leader training seminars. Your donation will help our non-profit organization grow and will also allow more donor funds to directly reach our host communities and project beneficiaries.
