The Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF) partners with community-based and grassroots organizations who are turning the tide of HIV and AIDS in Africa by providing care and support to women, orphaned and vulnerable children, grandmothers and people living with HIV and AIDS. Since 2003, we've partnered with over 325 community-level organizations on more than 1800 initiatives in 15 African countries hardest hit by the pandemic.

These organizations are the lifeline for their communities: they provide counselling, education and outreach for HIV prevention, care and treatment; home-based care; nutrition, healthcare and psychosocial supports; and education, training and income-generation opportunities, so people living with HIV or affected by AIDS can cope with crisis, restore resilience and face the future with confidence.

Since 2006, your generously donated Miles have supported this life-saving work. Donated Miles have brought voices of African grandmothers, women and youth and grassroots leaders to the forefront, enabled partnerships through our mentor programme, sent our field representatives to visit projects, and brought together community workers to share strategies and experiences around psychosocial counselling, orphan care and home-based healthcare. Thank you so much for making this possible!
