About

While The Terry Fox Foundation is an industry leader in high yield/low cost fundraising for cancer research, we constantly strive for ways to improve upon our 16% expense ratio. Each year the Foundation receives a high volume of requests for speakers to attend school and community events, from a Fox family member, Foundation staff member, or Terry Fox–funded researcher. As we do not charge a fee for visits the burden to cover travel costs falls to the Foundation. The donation of Aeroplan Miles would allow us to meet many more requests from all corners of our country.

Expanding the opportunity for staff and ambassadors to educate, inform, inspire and thank Terry Foxers across Canada would result in greater funds for cancer research, of that we are sure. Terry’s legacy has vastly improved the outcome for cancer patients today, but we still have more work to do. Your Aeroplan points donation can help us accomplish that work.
