UN Celebrates Wildlife Conservation

We think about wildlife every day, but today is the day that the UN formally recognizes wildlife and wildlife conservation. We really can't thank you enough for supporting our conservation science programs in Canada and around the world.

We've uploaded a photo of an orca (or killer whale) in Patagonia, Argentia. This small population of whales has evolved an extremely dangerous and specialized hunting tactic, requiring them to beach themselves temporarily to catch a seal, and then wriggle their way back into the water before getting stuck on the beach.

On #WorldWildlifeDay and every day, we're grateful to work on wildlife conservation, and we're grateful to people like you that allow us the privilege of doing work we find meaningful and helpful. Thank you!
