About

Mission: The Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network promotes the human rights of people living with and vulnerable to HIV and AIDS, in Canada and internationally, through research and analysis, advocacy and litigation, public education and community mobilization.

Vision: We envision a world in which the human rights and dignity of people living with HIV and AIDS and those affected by the disease are fully realized and in which laws and policies facilitate HIV prevention, care, treatment and support. The Legal Network will remain a recognized leader in this movement for health and human rights.

Standing up for the human rights of people living with HIV requires our staff to be on the ground and often in the air. From travelling to Ottawa or Geneva to meet with policy-makers and researchers or flying to collaborate with community partners in Vancouver, Moscow or Kingston (Jamaica), staff fly almost 150,000 miles (241,000 km) in economy class each year.

Your donation of miles allows the Legal Network to ensure that the human rights of people living with HIV and communities particularly affected by HIV are respected, protected and fulfilled.
