About

Northern Youth Abroad is a not for profit, registered charity that operates an educational work and travel program for predominantly aboriginal youth from Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. Approximately 45 participants each year complete assignments and travel to cities across Canada and abroad (recently to Guatemala and Botswana) volunteering, exchanging culture, developing leadership and workplace skills and earning up to 18 high school credits for completing both phases of the program.
